Come and discover our nautical base without further delay ! Located on the banks of the Adour in the heart of nature in Josse (15 minutes fron Hossegor and Capbreton), we offer the rental of boats, kayaks, and bicycles.
All our boats are electric, they can accomodate up to 7 people, and are available for rent for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or more if your desire for discovery is great!
For the more sports-oriented, we have a wide fleet of kayaks available! Whether departing from the base or further upstream, paddle up the Adour and discover some of its secrets!
We are located along one of the most well-known cycling paths, the Scandiberique. To enjoy it, we offer a wide range of bikes for rent : classic bikes, tandems, electric bikes, and two-seater child trailers.
A wide choice of snacks is also available! Whether you prefer ice cream or chocolate crepes, we have what you need!

Dropped off on the wrong end of river - we had to fight our way back against the current for nearly 2,5 hours ... bootcamp but no family event!
Today, we rented two canoes to take a nice 6 km / 1,5 hours total canoe trip with our two sons 12 and 15 years old.
After a 15 min drive to the drop off in an old van without any safety belt except for the driver (someone should tell him that belting himself is pointless if he has 8 unfastended passengers going ballistic through the car in a crash) we took off and were told to go upstream to reach the base.
After an hour (when we should have reached the base) and the current getting stronger we realised checking google maps that we did barely made half the route.
And the current was strong enough that once you tried to rest, you were more or less immediately pulled back downriver…
I would myself consider quite fit doing regular trainings - but going 2,5 hours without a chance to rest (or maybe even enjoy the view) in a sport we were not trained in was definetely not something we enjoyed!
When we finally reached the base, they apologised for having made a mistake in their tide calendar - though obviously it did not occur to them, that they could take one of their boates to check where everyone of the group was, once this group was massively overdue to come back.
And as an unintended consequence of the longer than antipated trip on the river my wife and two sons got themselfes a really bad sun burn on their legs, which keeps me awake at night to change the wet towels to cool their burns and to write one of my very few reviews.
So my advice for you
If you book a ride you should make sure to ask them
- if they have double checked to get you to the right drop off
- if there are any means that you can abort the trip and how they are going to retrieve you, should you find yourself in a position where you might be unable to make it back. And you should of course not mind or being afraid being carried as unsecured (possibly ballistic) cargo.

We rented an electric boat for an hour and it was a great experience (a round trip on the Adour).
The instructions were clear and the boat was very easy to handle.
The ride on the water was peaceful, ideal for relaxing with the family and enjoying the surrounding nature without the noise of the engine.
We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a family activity!
